Most of us know 4-5 somebodies at every level in the automotive industry. We all talk to each other just about every day in one form or fashion.

200 hours of labor and 25 years of expierence better get a paint job to die for or to kill for. I am sure you have cranked out some teriffic paint jobs. Seems like you missed it on this one. I am not trying to knock you by any strech but this dude has been excited as a kid on Christmas morning up until he went to your shop.

I would not choose this hill to die on. Fix the man's car.
i am sorry but 200 hrs is not excess with metal work and paint, 40-60 hrs is common to just sand and buff a car properly.
goodluck awesome tool

it was 200 hrs just for the paint work alone. The metalwork was over 1000 hours... Im sorry if I didnt clarify that before. My apologies.

I'm going to go ahead and close this thread. I really hope everything gets resolved; I love that car.

I think closing this thread makes the most sense so you guys can get the issues worked out. If it stayed open, it's only going to get ugly and nothing good will come out of it.
