It wasn't to bad, when you put the trim rings on for shocks. i cut mine down to about a 1/4'' so I can lower the car further,
What part of town are you in?
I've been slow on updating pictures.

I am up in Fort Collins, but my father lives in Denver so I go down there every now and then.
Thanks for the update on the DSE kit, I can't picture how you lowered the spring pocket? You just cut more off then they recommend?

I have been hanging over at Ls1 Tech trying to find a deal on T56, An motor. I came to realize that the LS7 was going to be too much to spend to get the car back on the road, I ended up buying a LS1 out of a 1998 corvete. Complete motor and driver excesories. So the motor is at builders right now. Im putting Ls6 heads that are being ported, a 231 239@112+4 615-625 comp cams, and were checking piston to valve clerence tonight, I might mill the heads to bump up compresion to 11-1/2-1. It should be 490ish hp.
Its not the HP I want,But it will get my car back on the road and will be set up for the future big Hp motor when $$ permits...
I ordered a Vapor works tank and T56 magnum today, Everything is pretty much ready for motor, tranny and tank to get it running....
I cant wait to flog the crap out of this car..... Do you no what its like to try and flog the sh33t out of a Crew cab F-350 power stroke..4x4
I havent smelled tire smoke or the rumble of a BBC in 10mnths...

Nice progress Kirk, it's looking real good. Good call on getting up and it running sooner. I prefer driving my car over building them. Alot of others enjoy the build more so when new parts come out plans change.

I feel your pain. I'm right there with ya. It's been 2.5 years for me and you are further along than I am. Great progress... It's looking good!
