+1 on the colour choice.
Definitely a good idea to spray them on a big surface. Hard to tell from a paint chip.

And you should be happy to know that I'm running a naturally aspirated big block also. T-56 six speed transmission behind it.

Here's some pictures of my car from SEMA this year:

Those were shot from Sportruck.com, I haven't had a chance to shoot the car since SEMA with the upgrades.

Looks like you have it under control but if you have any questions feel free to ask!

Dude that bad boy is so simple and understated its elegant!! Love it.

Update!

Most of the filler work is roughed out and ready to refine. All of the bodylines are done and ready to be sharpened up. The front and has been assembled and gapped as well as the doors being set. I'll be replacing the package tray with a speaker tray we built so that'll be cut before it heads into the booth. After doing two '66s, we found that the rear window stainless must be fitted to sit correctly in the window jamb. The aftermarket stuff will stick out at the rear corners so an oem one is key. I ordered the paint today too! Was a huge day just getting that done. Pics:

Here's a shot of the 502 block headed to the machne shop. It'll come back 509 inches, large hyd roller, head work, 10.5:1 etc. The block on the left is a 400 we are doing for a Nova.

Color in 2-3 weeks!

Niiiice!! Before I went LS, I had a BBC 509 in my Chevelle. My member name used to be "509 Chevelle." Keep the pics coming.

Update- took some shots of it today in the shop. It's in its final primer and ready to start the block party. Got the gaps and edges all in excellent order. My guys are far more talented than myself with this stuff so they got the bodylines all dialed in and that funky door gap the 64-67s all have where the door meets the post. Color is right around the corner!

The last picture is the most exciting one! 4-5 more weeks till my baby boy and I meet eyes for the first time. We are expecting 2 big events in January/February!

Thanks boys! It's been a journey for these 9 months. We are of course very, very excited. I'll post up when he gets here. Thanks for the support everyone!
