Awesome built, really like how you smoothed the firewall

Is it the 16 or 20 gauge sheet metal that you used for the firewall? Also do you have a photo of the firewall before installing the sheet metal on the firewall?

Thanks

Your Camaro is coming along real nice and its exciting to hear your updates. We are also going to be running the Vintage racing wheels so its nice to get an idea of what they look like actually bolted onto a car.

I got the fuel line and brake lines ran. I am going to have to modify the fuel line for my LS1 Fuel pump filter/regulator and for the flex hose running to the motor.

Tonight I dropped the car on all four wheels. I purchased Moog coil springs and will probably take an additional 1/4 or 1/2 coil off when its all said and done, but they might settle a little more. These are the springs that David Pozzi recommends on his site. I still need to finish plumbing the rear flex lines and getting the front disc brakes on. I have the under dash going where it needs to go and installed the gauges last weekend. Those Vhx gauges are awesome. The LS1 wiring has still got me lost and I hope to find someone local who has done the swap to help me get on the right track and make sure that I am doing everything right. Wiring has been a little challenging but the American Autowire Kit is really a nice kit and comes with some nice diagrams.

I cut up a th400 x member and added some plate metal on the bottom. With the trans mount and the factory locations it's right at 4-5 degrees.
I have to take it to my dads shop to weld it up. My little mig is only good for tacking.

I used the car shop motor mounts. I will have $20 in the x member when done. Took me about 3 hours this evening. Mainly because of my lack of tools!

Today, I installed the Ididit column, power steering box and hooked the steering linkage back up. Also, I added oil to the motor. The ididit column went in fairly easy. I had to loosen the dash bolts and do a little work to get the column brackets to line up. I am having some power steering lines built and hopefully will have the fuel lines finished up in the next few weeks. My wife and I had our first 7 weeks ago. He has been keeping me pretty busy lately.
