Cool, progress! Sorry, I can't relate.

Where do you live? Is it rural?

Also I am building an 18' car hauler. I used 5" Channel to build the frame and set the cross braces on 2' centers. I am adding 4 wheel brakes to the axles and also a rock shield. http://photobucket.com/albums/a312/a...er%20Projects/

Also some of this may interest you guys who go to the lake:

Scott,

It is rural I guess you could say! N. Oklahoma. Our Wal-mart is the only one you can walk in and see all 4 walls of the store-Literally. The closest house is about a mile away. The closest movie theater is 38 miles. I wouldn't trade any of it, a 400 acrea yard to grow up in. You can't ever say you are bored out here. There is always cows to feed, fences to fix and plenty of other work.

-I actually had a conversation with someone awhile back that was from a large city and I asked what in the heck do you guys do? She laughed and said what the heck do you do out there.

Kenny,
I have always wanted to learn to barefoot. I would defintely use it. I am going to build a Skyline pole this spring. I have a few friends who barefoot but I never have got a chance to try it out. When I get the engine finished up we may have to drag it up to the lake and do some skiing. How does the pole attach?

Nice Nautique, very clean resto, I have spent many hours behind the wheel of one of those. You should check out www.planetnautique.com or www.the2001.com if you haven't already found them. If you like wakeboarding you should check out wakeworld.com

Looks good. You need to drive it down after you finish it up. Who did you decide to get to paint it?

Mike

Steve, haven't you heard that above the Right front tire gives you better performance in the corners?

Darren and Les Webb at Perry Paint & Body are doing the paint work. I am going to set in and help and also try to not get in the way. They do great work and have been really helpful in answering my rookie questions.

I don't know when I will ever have it complete, but when I get it finished up I will drive it down. I still got a lot of work to do.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I look forward to seeing paint on the car.
