Happy birthday and the Renegade is one of the best ...showing
you drive it.. that means the most I think...

Not sure how your wife knew what engine to buy
but great she knows

My wife:
I painted my car a number of years back and was going to
our yearly Pantera convention.. I told my wife I was
not going to Track the car at our annual race since it
had new paint.. she turned around and asked me why
do you put that motor in the car??? She changed my
mind and I put the first new rock chips on the car

Congrats on both man!!
Exactly, that why that award is so cool. Thanks!

I have always said they're are 2 different kind of wives/girlfriends we car guys have.

One that deals with our obsession and one that excepts our obsession.

I will say I know I'm fortunate and wouldn't have it any other way - but you have one that only most can dream of. To have one as involved as much as yours is way cool.
Hehe, two years ago, she was the one that "dealt" with it. 180 flip and I couldn't be happier about it. Thank you!

Oh Todd, there are lots of options, that's probably not one of them though! Sorry man! It really would be a nice LS starter motor in the Vette and my oldest will have a 70 El Camino project coming in the next couple of years to.

Took me a while, but I'm getting back to reality now. My feet almost touch the ground, just a few more feet to go...

Hey Bob, well she put all her engine spec-ing trust in my great friend, and brother-from-another-mother, Tom Farrington (tommycomfort). Tom is a Mast dealer now. So with his personal experience and the expert collaborations with Billy Utley (72novadriver), this is the motor they came up for me. My wife trusted both of their inputs and pulled the trigger on this back in May. Pretty cool.
Sounds like you have a keeper too! Congratulations.

Default Best wife

Sounds like we all have great wives

Mine has been married to me for 37 years today

Was going to get rid of my Pantera a few months
back because I could not get in it due to a bad back..
she talked me out of it.. all is better now and driving
the car.. they some times know things we are too hard
headed to figure out... she understands my addiction to
cars and motorcycles

As long as we are talking about great wives, I need to chime in. The highlights... for my 60th birthday in January, she gave me a shifter kart class at Bondurant, AND an XTreme Driving Ferrari experience in Chicago in May. Oh yeah, she also told me last December if I was gonna retire, I needed a new toy, spent 4 days at Barrett-Jackson while I checked out every P/T Camaro & Corvette in the house, and sat right next to me when I dropped big bank (for us) on a '69 Camaro. The icing? She has been very patient as "creeping luxuries" have taken over the new cave addition... complete with a 12 foot vaulted ceiling for a 2 post lift!

My fat a** in a kart..

The new addition...

What it was before construction...

Home for this...

I hate to boast, but after 28 years, ain't a day goes by that I don't wonder what I did to deserve her!

So you bought Vegas69's Camaro at Barrett Jackson?? If that's not it - it sure like just like it.

Ain't those shifter karts a hoot!!! After doing those at Bondurant -- I was upset with myself for not getting my kids into karting.
