I agree, rear wheel doesn't flow with the car

I have seen Bobby Alloway's work and he is a true craftsman, but if you put a roots blower on this I think the design credit would have to go to Big Time/ Jada, Muscle Machines or Zingers. It's looking very Pro Street which is not necessarily bad, just defined as wretched excess.

The only thing I question is the structural integrity - if you are going to put a motor in that can make the car run 150-200 mph, or accelerate like a bat out of hell, where is the safety equipment? Like SN65 said, the frame rails have been hacked - have they been strengthened or updated? Is this a true driver or trailer queen ?

That's why I like Bob's Cuda so much. It IS a SMOY and a true driver. You can drive the hell out of it and live to tell about it another day.

I agree the wheels are stupid on that car. Well, wheels that size are stupid period, let alone on a car like that. Besides, Foose (on an episode of Overhaulin' at least a year ago, 67 or 68 fastback with silly huge rear wheels for a ghetto pro-stock look) and others have already done that and have proven how bad it looks.

I also agree regarding other statements about the frame and the power/speed/acceleration that the engine should be capable of producing. If it doesn't get a cage to tie it all together, then it is best left a trailer queen. Worst-case is someone thinks it is purpose built and actually drags it, stuffs it in the wall, and then will be able to completely copy Foose with hand control retrofits when the owner ends up in a wheelchair.

Otherwise the car looks to have some nice work done too it. If it just had reasonable wheels on it (nothing over 18"), the car would probably look amazing. I just can't get into that silly, heavy, huge wheel look - wait a minute.... nope, just hung my pants below my butt, hung my underwear out and put a cap on sideways with the bill rolled up and still don't get it...

this thread is actually pretty funny. There are not to many people on this board that should be bashing anything bobby alloway builds. You may not like or it may not be your style but he is one of the best builders in the country. And for those of you that dont know most of bobbys cars are not driven BUT they are as nice on the bottom as they are on the top.

And for the reasonable wheel size comment......I think you have missed out on the last few years of high end car building and what the market is going toward(almost all big name cars have 18+ size wheels) I could start naming them but then you would have to remeber what you said about cars looking dumb with big wheels

I wouldnt loose to much sleep over it......lol. With his 8 posts I doubt he even comes back. 18+ size wheels are here to stay for awhile I just wish people stop running pro built cars down because of a couple things they would do different when in reality they cant even grasp the concept of owning or building a car 1/2 or 1/4 as nice.
