Pics have been a long time coming but, honestly, we haven't really done a lot of sheetmetal/Tube work since the chassis is pretty much done and the main sheetmetal is also pretty much done. Now it's just the little details like sway bar mounts, gussets, etc. but here are some pics that you might like:
The Meat Wagon has arrived! Notice the height of the rear tires in relation to the bed side height! BUHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
Front end valance with air inlet. We'll be splitting the inlet with brake duct cooling vents to each side and power steering cooler in the middle.
Roughed onto the car!
Closing off the firewall, Note the size of the Vintage Air unit. I told Rodger I wanted to pull up into the beach parking lot on the hottest summer day here in Cali and, when I get out, have icicles hanging off the end of my nose!
Trunk side pans
In our many "Stand around and throw dumb ideas out" meetings Rodger came up with a great one as we stared at the gas tank and wondered what we would do with the spaces to the side of tank! Do we just cover them in sheetmetal? Naw! Too easy! He thought to put the battery on one side and a toolbox of sorts on the other, kind of like what you get when you buy one of those luxury european super cars but with better tools(Snap On).
