Ya...and I think my car is quiet.
I got the car back together last Wednesday in preparation for a car show at the local Harley Davidson dealer. I used my coolant system pressure tester after I installed the water pump and intake. Those two leaks were fixed but the gauge still dropped about a half pound in 2 minutes. I ended up needing to move a hose clamp and tighten another a hair and it held 16 lbs no problem. So the intake and water pump both definitely had a leak after inspection after removal. That's all fixed now.
Got up early Saturday and cruised over to the show. I actually entered multiple categories and had a great time. I must of had 7-8 friends show up to keep me company and the car was a huge hit with a nice crowd most of the time. It was a public vote show. Unfortunately the voting slips were inside the dealer and nobody I talked to around my car seemed to know anything about voting. I thought I had it in the bag. Afterall my friends all voted for me and I had a crowd all day. Boy was I wrong. I got beat by a 68 Pro Street Camaro!

All I can figure out is that all the old farts that entered the show voted for that car or Pro Street is still king.

That will be the last time I enter a car show. I was thinking on the way over there, I would really just like to keep driving. That is the best part of this car anyway. It looks hot but it drives outstanding.
I've been lucky enough to get the car out the last four days in a row and log a few hundred miles. I've been playing with shock adjustments and brake bias. I have all the rear brake in it and added a little more firmness out back. It's just the best car I've ever driven. It's a blast. I'm entering my first Autoross Sunday.
I did attract the hot chicks at the show. The local gun store had models. I was so dumbfounded when they all jumped in my car I didn't even get a shot. I did drag the best looking one over for a photo later. You can kind of see the Pro Street car by the right side of my hood in the last shot.
