It runs like a top. Starts easy and idles at 650 rpm. From inside the car I barely hear it but Scott says it barks at him if I lean on the gas. Great power. Got 23.6 mpg one day. Another day I got 20 mpg. Never overheated, never leaked. It feels like it should handle and stop well. The brakes felt perfect. We are going to run itat the Gingerman event this weekend so we should have a chance to see how it handles. I have one of those Go Pro video cams so we should have some decent video. The people that saw the car on Power Tour pretty much it was a perfect execution of a build. It all just looks like it belongs. I think it is my favorite of the Stielow cars. The power is so linear compared to the Mule. This car is going to see alot of miles...

Thanks Charlie...

For us very interested onlookers it is great to hear from you about how well it is engineered and just flat out works.

Very happy for you and Mark that all that time, hard work plus money invested has produced a notable car that has exceeded your expectations.

Yep, it's really quiet at idle and cruise, but when you stand on it, WOT under load, it's pretty loud. It's a really deep sound like it has a huge cubic inch big block... best way I can describe it I guess.

Here's a video of it idling by....

What mufflers are on it?

The reason I ask is I think my magnaflows are blown out. I really noticed it leaving bristol for the 12 hour ride home. My head was numb and hearing impaired for about an hour once I arrived home.

Is it a hybrid? Was it runnning on electric power in that video? LOL
its a bit too quite for me. Total sleeper though put some steel wheels on it and go racing.
