Eddie, When I saw the first picture of Your car iN Super chevy, and the top was cut ,I said WOW what a difference it made,,I have Carrols shop on favorites but no new News from Them,, Would like to talk to You, See You at Commerce Ga. ?? May 15th,, Roger J

Default L$II-BAD updates

Finally asembled car with hood & hinges,, Had to cut quarters damn near off of car to fix pryor owners F--k up on installing quarters,, repops are bad but you just can't throw them on and go to welding,,, thank God!! they didn't do but a half assed job at the few spots they attempted to weld !!!

Default Hood fitment

Has anyone had a problem with cowl hood fitting ?? to much arch along fenders ???

Yeah, no aftermarket hood fits.

You're luck if an original hood fits.

Default Ls2 Chevy II

I am building a 66 also had the same problems hood didn't fit the fenders and the quarter panels were a 1/4 inch short on the door gaps I blamed it on after market parts glad to see I was not alone. It looks like you cut the quarter and filled it in? If I ever get computer smart I will post pictures us Nova guys have to stick together.

The picture of hood is after it was mauled with a 4lb hammer and a 4x4 to de-arch it,, Yes it will have some filler, but either possum stomp it or maul it with a hammer !!! The link to my old Camaro shows after the possum stomping and mauling !!!https://lateral-g.net/members/jennings/

As Greg Weld said cut to cure !!! that has been done, the aftermarket parts for a nova are no better than for a camaro-etc,. !! Nothing a little welding and cutting won't cure,, but it just adds moe work to get the gaps right,,
