Pretty hard to follow some of those. It's not the nicest..but it does the job. Two car garage and high enough to use a rotisserie. One day I'll have a nice big fancy shop.

Before I added some storage racks. I hate that damn post right in the middle.

Added more storage

There certainly are some great looking shops here. I've been lurking on this forum for quite awhile and thought I might post some photos of our little shop and a couple of the toys. Please pardon the mess.

I've posted this before but here it is again -- my backyard "shed" (That's what my mother in law calls it - and the name stuck).

It's 30 X 50 so just about enough room to do one car...

Awesome place, Greg. That sounds like the best possible stroke rehab. I fully believe putting your buddy in his element with things he likes will help his brain "want" to heal itself.. .much more than a hospital room. Great idea, and you're to be commended for doing it. We wish him well!

Thanks for the kudos.

You should have seen the look on his (Ricks) face when we rolled him in - and there sits his car... (He has several - but this was his only "build"). That look and acknowledgment that he knew what was going on - was priceless. I agree with you... Activity both physical, and mental, is what will help the most.

That's excellent. So many times we see people laid up in beds in hospitals, but I agree - get 'em out and close to an environment they like and it would work wonders. Heck, I get sick just walking though hospitals because of the thought of having to stay in one. Best of luck to Rick, and have a great holiday season!

I'm so jealous of the mill and the lathe!! I'm not sure how to use either one of them - but I'd sure like to try!!
