I don't randomly choose just anyone to "partake" in the Weld lifestyle. When I say we're leaving at 4:30AM it doesn't mean 4:31... Pierre is at the lobby of the hotel at 4:15. When you ask - what do you want to eat... ANYTHING is a good answer.... because you don't just wheel these rigs into town and if you want to make some time - you may be eating while moving. He's a new convert to In N Out... But they're too messy to eat in cab so we take a few minutes and gulp 'em down in store. He's learned to pee when we're stopped for fuel or food.... not ask for a separate stop when we just left a perfectly good spot. "Never pass up a perfectly good chance to pee" is an old guys best learned lesson. T-shirts and blue jeans are considered being dressed up. You WILL get dirty during the day. A Weld road trip can begin on a moments notice - and "when will we be there or where are we going, and when will we be home" are not topics of discussion. We'll get there when we get there and we may decide to alter course or alter plans! Something may come up of interest that we didn't anticipate... Who knows! Does being "home" Tuesday at 2 really matter? NO!

On this trip - we:

Delivered a car
NHRA Museum
GNRS
Bobby Walden's shop
So Cal Speed shop
Barry Whites Speed Shop
Art Chrisman's shop
John Forces "store" = the museum and shop weren't open
A McLaren store in Newport Beach
Ironworks Speed and Kustom
Bought a car
Roy Brizios Street Rods
Dan's Custom Upholstery to see my Brother in Laws Camaro upholstery

Anyone see anything wrong with that week??

Greg,
Sounds like a busy week. Are you looking for a Mclaren? My buddy is a sales manager for that Dealership also, Ferrari, Maserati, and Lamborghini.

Well said!! I can't count how many times I've had to respond 'don't know, don't care' to those same questions.

Other than a brief slowing down of your 'The drive to 10K' post count campaign, no.

Momentum clearly has been re-established.

Sounds like a great time! Let me know when the Weld Experience is coming through Delaware! I know a great guy that would detail the rig!

No, the dealership was just 'there' so we barged in looking like bums and had a great time. The sales guy was fantastic!

I may trade in the Audi R8 Spyder for a Ferrari California... my wife would like that, and it's her car.

EGG ZAKACKTEDLY! Ask that more than once - it'll be your last trip. Bring extra meds - extra underwear - kick back and enjoy an all expense paid trip. Wanna go see something -- just say so! If we have time we'll work it in. Don't say "gee I woulda liked to have gone to "X"" when we're three days up the road.

I'm going to have Jody hit the reset button. It's kinda embarrassing...

HAHAHAHAHA!! You're on!

BTW -- If I go to a show with Rudy (my B-I-L) he'll disappear.... Then I find him on the other side of MY car polishing my wheels.... HE is embarrassed 'cause I don't really take very good care of stuff like that. To me - bugs are a badge of honor, brake dust shows I drove it.
