totally old skool kool ! a few years back it would have just looked dated in that color and stripes.. but now its just super cool...

promise you will find some period correct wheels for it?

I agree, I think these cars are going to make a comeback soon, considering that most first gens and early second gens are getting harder to find and more expensive to purchase. I hope to see the retro late 70s/early 80s themes become more popular, especially in the PT world. As for the wheels, the ones that are on it are factory so we will probably keep them, at least for a while.

I cleaned the frame and firewall up some. Also removed the old SB motor mounts and ground down the frame to accept the new mounts for the LS engine. As soon as the Edelbrock swap headers arrive I should be mocking everything up.

Digging the build man...I think these Camaro's will pick up on builds..I've scene a few of them with just the right wheels and it was a night and day difference...very cool!

thanks, yeah I agree with the correct wheels and stance it should look alot better.

Made a template and cut out some sheet metal to shave the firewall.
