But -- the company did bring me a "loaner" until mine gets here - which is just absolutely stellar customer service!! And I put the beast to some good use! I actually ran it for about 4 hours yesterday just getting acquainted with the operation and "pattern" needed. Of course I also cleaned the Cul D' Sac - and then the street on both sides a quarter of a mile - drove to the condo because Gwen had made me lunch - then drove to the Sinclair station because I'd used up half a tank of diesel.... LOL.

You get the "drift" on snow here - this is ONE DAY - it's supposed to snow every day this week....

Is the snow light or wet? We usually get heavy wet snow.

It's usually so light that people move it with a leaf blower -- but the other day it snowed and it was warm (33*) and the snow was heavy and wet, and slick, like Seattle snow....

The key here is that if you plow or blow or whatever - so that there's only a 1/2" on the ground - the sun comes out and melts and dries your driveway / walkway / patio so that only the landscaping is white. If you don't get it off - and you walk or drive on it - then it turns to ice.... and that sucks then.
