Telly, that thing is gorgeous! What a great looking car and in a short amount of time. I would probably never think of gold as a color for a project, but you killed with it with that theme and color!

Really sorry about your bad luck but I think your still a winner just having the car done. I get a lot of people looking for referrals that are out of my area and do not want to ship a car. I do not throw those referrals around losely.

You my friend are on my referral list!

Well as many of you already know we had a little bad luck on the track, which sucks I'm sure the car would have done very well. I was running a jerico and the p.o.s. would'nt shift down into 2nd gear no matter what I did I even was using the clutch it would slam into gear and act like an emergency brake sliding the whole car out from under me, I was pretty damn lucky we were'nt at speed I'm sure the car would have been destroyed, I almost shot the rear out of the car and I was going slow so I can imagine what would've happened at full speed. So alot of people looked under the car and came to their own idea what happened but I'm 99% sure the trans was the key problem and I'm sure thats what made everything back there break.
Now my bad luck did'nt end at that, we landed last night in milwaukee around 11pm when I turned on my phone I found out that my truck was broken into where they stopped for dinner, smashing out the drivers side window and taking just about anything they could, luckily most of the stuff was locked in the trailer but they managed to get my new garmin wtf. I kinda wish they would've just stolen the whole rig so I could collect a big insurance check!
On a lighter note the car got alot of attention, we were one of the 7 cars feature leaving sema and we'll be on the cover of phr with some pretty awsome cars. And I'm sure my interview with me breaking will make tv so dont laugh I didnt know if I was going to throw up or cry! Over all it was a great time and I had a blast thanks to Jimi, Cam and everyone else at Optima they are truely a class act. Telly
Telly - so sorry about your run of bad luck. I will say, Goldmember is BAD A**! It looks great, was prob the third loudest of all the Optima cars (sounded awesome) and an overall beautiful build! I was the lucky guy driving the camera car in the parade, so here's some early eye candy...
