The exhaust bezels are about 6" from the tires. From all of the studying we have done, the heat should never reach or affect the tires.

I have not been around for quite a few months, I have a ton of updates but only a few pics. Sorry! The 3 I have are the package tray speaker mounts, door speaker mounts, and the tweeter mounts in the dash. I recessed them so that the speaker grills I am building will be flush mounted with the interior. Since I posted last, all of the fuel/brake lines are finished and mounted securely, finished the center console, and working on the air intake/filter mount right now. The car will be ready for body work around Jan. 1. Then the fun begins.

You get a peek at the center console in the last 2 pics.

Since I posted about 6 or 7 weeks ago, there were a few things that had to be changed. I guess that's how a project goes. Since I lowered the Chassisworks clip 2.5", I thought I had everything fit and finished! But I was wrong. I ended up having to fab new down bars from the firewall to the clip, completely redo the inner fenders, and redo all of the front brake lines and tabs. The reason for all of this was for tire size and proper clearance so the tires can turn either direction while the shock is compressed or extended. I thought I had this figured out a year ago but I obviously had not. I will post pics of the new inner fenders and down bars in a day or 2 along with the brake lines and a few other updates.

First time the car has been on the ground in over 2 years! Here is the car at ride height. The rocker height is 4 3/4" at the front and 5" at the rear. I still have some adjustability left. Don't mind the tires and wheels! And I'm not the greatest photographer either. Haha

Awesome! I don't think you should paint it. Leave it just like that, hoodless and all!
