Default More More More

Well I've got a little more to show. The header tubes are welded and tacked into the flanges. We are going to put the collectors on tomorrow and try to have them buttoned up this week.

We also got a package of material to start the exhaust after the headers are complete. Check this out. It's like fine jewelry!

While I was waiting for the header tubes I decided it was time to remove the dash. Anyone need a stock 68 dash. It can be welded right back in! Just not in this truck!

Anyway, that's it for now. Going to try and keep rolling!

They are definitely not cheap, but not bad from where we got them. Check out www.mandrelbends.com. Great quality and the best prices I could find on V-Bands.

Nice project, I love this body style. I had to sell my 72 GMC but I plan to build another one one of these days.

Default Headers Complete! Sort Of!

The headers are complete minus some flange smoothing and dress up. We are ready to move on to the exhaust system. Check out the progress!
