Default Twas the fortnight before Xmas...

.... and it just happened to be one mans very special wish come true.

It all had started with a chance meeting on AIM with Jody, just BSing about this and that and a mention of going to Scotts to pick up his seats. Jody says to me, "would you mind taking a package with you?"... Now, from all my experience flying, and having been asked the same question "would you mind taking this bag on your flight and not looking inside?". Naturally i said yes.

So arrived at my door was a package. After several warnings "DO NOT PUT THESE ON YOUR CAR"... i choose it best not to open it fully.

So i called Scott and said, "i know its hard for you to get off work, but could you meet me at your house today, ASAP! I'm in a huge rush"

I could tell Scott was a little concerned yet still agreed to meet me, he had no clue that this was to be one of the best 'half days' of his life.

So i headed off in the S10 of Doom.

And drove the 115 miles, each way to Scotts house. Yes, i am speeding.

I arrived and shoved a camera in Scotts face, and said, this is the "before" picture. Puzzled, he struck a pose for me.

I said, "you wanted to know why i called this emergency meeting? Check the back of my truck, the guys from the board got you something special"

Scott, still confused... looked.

Then to his glee, he opens the first Xmas present.

Then he realizes... there's more!!

Mean while, i had the foresight to get some progress photos, because well... Scott is about as secretive as Chevy is with the new Cobalt. I barely got these pics taken before 12 security guards with MP5's escorted me out.

The guards helped me load my seats, i still have a bruise from the barrel of that Beretta.

I said goodbye to what could have been a great addition to my car, and said congrats to scott.

As i left, scott had these words to say.

And yes, the seats made it home safely.

Very cool Eric. Thanks again for your help, it was much appreciated. And Scott, sorry for putting you on the spot, but it was the only way to do it!

Talk about being put on the spot, but I didn't see how I could refuse. lol At the time, I knew about a few of the poeple that were a part of this, but I'm starting to get an idea of the scope of what went on. I recieved over a half dozen phone calls last night from guys on the forum, explaining how it all went down. Thanks again, guys!!
