Default Vin Tag

Happy New Year everyone, my vin tag is kind of beat up and was wondering if a company out there can make new vin-tags.

I agree with Don so long as we are referring to the VIN tag. Is there any chance the tag you mentioned is a trim tag? The reason I ask is because replacement trim tags appear to be available from Trimtags.com.
I bought replacement rivets from them years ago for both vin and trim tags. They were really good to deal with.

If it is a special (SS, Z28 etc) car I would not do it. Experts over on Team Camaro can spot a repop Trim tag and will out you in an epic dogpile thread. LOL...

If you change it hang onto the original. I think it is illegal to swap a Trim tag in Oklahoma.

Why would any authority figure care what options the car came with?

I toss mine out.

Legal fallout from a guy building clones with repop trim tags and selling them as real. Somebody lobbied Oklahoma to make it illegal.
