Default I bought an American car :)

It looks like boredom on wheels right now.

That won't last long though.

I think you've caught enough flack for your new purchace, so let me be the first to ask, what are your plans for it? They can look pretty cool when done up right.

I can take the flack

Ok, here's my exciting news/post. I'm currently working with a publishing company that puts together TPR Magazine (www.tprmag.com) and we're kicking off a new Trucks mag in 2006. So the white bucket above is going to be our first project car. Basically a CARB legal "budget beast".

As far as the magazine goes, please feel free to drop me a line with any ideas, events, feature trucks (and SUVs) that you think we could run in the mag. I'm not being given much money to put the mag together, so we'd love to hear from anyone who is willing to help out because they want to contribute to a magazine.

Thanks again everyone

Looking forward to fun and exciting 2006

Boxer

I have a '90 Chevy pickup myself. I am doing the research now to do a budget build. The cool thing is, you can get anything and everything for these trucks. Plus it's a good looking bodystyle.

What type of magazine will this be?

My brother is a truck-nut, but his gripe with the mags is that the features are all either 8' off the ground with 48" mudders, or bagged 2wds on 24" wheels setting on the rocker panels. There is no "truck" mag for trucks that can still actually be used as trucks
