Default Some cool new photos from a dyno day of the Kalis/DC camaro...

So since the camaro has found its new home in SoCal... i have been driving it A LOT... and driving hard.

I had Tony G and Shadowman retune the car... and it has been unbelievable. Here are some pics i saw from the meet. Also a couple random cruising photos.

Dyno Dynamics dyno she put down over 800rwhp and 780ft lbs tq... with a clutch that was slipping bd enough it was smoking and stinking!! lol.
Just for fun we "tried" 11 lbs... she made 760ft lbs at 3k rpm at the tire before the clutch just gave up lol.

Thinking about getting a mcloud clutch this time.
The 10.5 Ram Twin Disk did its job well... 10+k miles of pretty hard miles at about 1000hp... so no complaints.

She out handled a Ferrari 599 with a very good driver through the canyons... and in a straight line killed a 600rwhp 740rwtq ZR1, 600+rwhp Z06, and a 800 rwhp(with slicks) 2000 F1 Pro Charged Camaro!!

Car looks great. Wish I would have gotten to see when it was in MI. Guess it's hard to beat the SoCal weather.

Im not sure... The last time it was logged was by Tony.. and it was a non issue.. so we didn't discuss it any further. I guess i could log it and let you know. I do know that when the car is cruising or idling for a while.. you can put your hand on the intake(post throttle body) and the intake tubes(pre throttle body).. and they are both cool to the touch.

I plan on being at the Irvine Cars and Coffee this Saturday. As long as the clutch allows it... but its still pretty drivable 1st through 3rd.. but if i hammer down in 4th.. she likes to slip a bit.

Biggest issue my car has... we used the wrong primer on the car.. so the paint is lifting in places.... And im running out of cool looking stickers to cover the bubbles!! I have two new ones on the sail panel.

Its only a matter of time before i will have to strip her down and give her some new paint. But this time i don't have the shop to do it myself... so i have to pay.

Next time though..... no stripes!! I think DC got enough play off it!!
Maybe i'll write a proposal to a shop. We can paint their logo on it in return for a new paint job!!

Best of Show?? Dick... you reading this?? !!

I want to take this chance to hijack this thread and give Josh some loooong overdue props for being a great representative for DC and his sport. My son is a skater and I was looking for some posters, etc when I was re-doing his room. I sent Josh an email, and it would have been easy for him to stop with "sorry, I don't have any posters" but he didn't. He sent out a variety of decals, a hoodie, a hat, and a killer backpack for Roy. Josh is now my son's favorite skater, and DC is by far the favorite of all of us in this household. Kudos to you, Josh, you are a class act!
