Default David Farmer World Challenge C6 chassis pics

Ed from 21st Century Street Machines sent some pictures of the C6 chassis they are building for David Farmer. You can also see the history of the build on David's website. I thought it was pretty cool so I thought I'd share.

Thanks Ed!

Default doors

The doors for that car are carbon fiber. I picked one up and I bet it does not weigh 2.5 lbs. I was thinking working lights and blinkers and I bet I could make that thing street legal. Watch out "Big Red"

Ed, thanks for posting here.

And thanks the rest of you for visiting my site. Look for updated pictures, in-car video, and more excitment as the car gets finished up. I hope to have the chassis painted by Friday (finishing up some odds and ends), and start final assembly next week.

Default Speaking of.....

Alot of my fab-work was done by my cousin at LGMotorsports. It was being built right next to mine so I had a chance to watch the construction of their mighty C6 for this year's challenge, before the skins were put on. It's a work of art.. Here's a shot of what Lou Gigliotti will be piloting this year....

Default Welcome to the site

Welcome David,

I saw you car at Ed's shop. My car was the camaro sitting next to your vette. Are you the person that is going to do some testing for the 21st century subframe?

I hope to make the Rd Atlanta race the 3rd weekend in April. We'll see.

Yes, 21st Century asked me to do some test driving, but after what I paid them to do my cage, I hope they'll pay what I'm worth

Enjoy, should have new pics up by the weekend. Hope to spray the tub/cage this evening.

Dave
