Default Gotta brag a bit, Some Prodigy Boys done good at Ecklers

Congratulations to our customers Sam with his 55 Chevy and Robert with his 57 Chevy. At Ecklers Winter Nationals here in Kissimmee Florida, a couple our guys did pretty damn good. The Winter Nationals brings out some of the finest cars on the eastern Seaboard, especially Tri Fives. Sam's car scored a 985 out of 1000 and first place with his badd ass 55 hardtop. Some of you saw this True blue and vanilla Two Tone beauty on Power Tour 2006. Killer car with a Morrison chassis, ALL ALUMINUM 550 HP / 427 CI Small Block, Smokin interior, Just a bad ass machine. We did the body and paint on this car 2 years ago and the car still looks killer and is scoring high golds. Sam is doing a fantastic job of chasing the car, keeping it fantastic, and believe me, Sam drives the wheels off the car.

Robert scored a amazing 985 in his badd ass 57 hardtop. This is the car that scored 975 in the original restored class last year at the 2007 Winter nationals. At last years show the car was sporting the original 283 Dual Quad motor, all 170 HP of it, complete with a 3 speed overdrive, fender skirts and gangster whitewalls. Then immediately after the show we molested it Prodigy Style doing a all aluminum 572 CI / 758 HP monster, TKO 600 transmission, A 33 spline Moser 12 bolt, Coil over front, control arms, rack and pinion, Rear coil over conversion, moved the springs inboard, 315 Drag Radials. So he scores 10 more points this year AFTER the conversion then last year! And now he enjoys driving the car a LOT more. What's more impressive is Robert drives the hell out of this car. He lives way out in Clermont, and it is nothing for him to drive 60 miles to Lake Mary, or somewhere else, on every Saturday night for cruise night. He drove the car back and forth to Daytona for the turkey Run, over 100 miles each way, everyday for 4 days. Robert is HARDCORE and loving it.He has thousands of miles on the car already.

Both these guys are seniors north of 60 Years old, both with their first Hot Rods, and lovin it. It is just so cool!

I am personally ANTI points after building concourse original points cars and running shows for so many years. But as anti points as I have become, these are pretty damn impressive points. If you have never been judged on a 1000 point sheet, it really breaks the judging into about 100 micro categories. And the total points are the average scores or (3) independent judges, each with their own 1000 point sheet, removing most of the subjectivity, favoritism and preference from the scores. To score a gold (950 or better) is a big deal, to break 975,,,,,,,,,Is huge!

So Congratulations guys

The Colors are hard to grab with the camera, but this shot shows the tru colors pretty well. Color got blown out on all the full car shots.

I will have some more pics on the new site very soon

Saw the blue/creme colored car at the Old Town show when I was on vacation in Fl. Car is VERY nice! I have some pics of it buried on my computer somewhere, I'll see if I can dig them up.

Nice work Frank!

Congrats Frank! Hey can you send me a disc of images on the 55HT? Thanks! I had one 35mm pic of that car that was handed to me at a show a few years back with no info on it...... I beleive it is even the same blue and white as our 55. GREAT CAR!
