Thanks for the replies guys, the coating is from
www.hpcoatings.com my buddy has a race shop and they used it on there daytona prototype, before the coating they measured 900degs at the headers at idle with the IR therm. after hpc they measured 450degs (same scenerio) on the headers. I spoke with the owner of HPC at sema this past november and he explained (in the most humble way possible) that most other companies claim there products will work at high temps but none really hold in heat. there best stuff is called HPC Extreme and it comes in black, blue and grey. the quality of the work is just plain awsome, they cover all the gasket surfaces and also the surfaces for the bolts so they're not coated, they really go the extra mile!
Mile goal for the motor is 1000hp at really big boost levels
only time will tell but that is the goal
