Default Vegas Help or advice

My wife and I are winging to Vegas this Friday for a long weekend, any must do or see while we are there? This will be the first time in Vegas for both of us.

That's a loaded question!

Imperial place has a nice car collection on the top floor. Go to the bell mans desk and ask for a pass or just go up stairs and pay the fee.

Not sure what your into but I do suggest eating at Isla inside the T.I. Social House Sushi is also there and very good. Diablos is also good eats. It's across the street from the Harley Davidson Cafe.

Let me know more of what your into and I can make a few suggestions. Also where are you staying?

I'm out of town starting tomorrow or the wife and I would come join you for dinner and a show.

Ya gotta do the brunch at the Steak House at Ballys on Sunday! WOW! Awesome selection! Great Crab Legs and HUGE shrimp!

Sunday is also REHAB day at the Hard Rock Hotel so if you want to observe the spectacle that is REHAB get a patio table at the Pink Taco and watch the action unfold while sipping on a nice cool Margarita!

Default Vegas

Thanks for the suggestions! Looking for the stuff you guys are throwing out there. Cars are good, food is good, the little things that are not necessarily touristy.....Explain this REHAB at the Hardrock....Is my pasty white midwestern A$$ going to fit in ?

We are staying at MGM. My wife has a conference there on Monday. We are flying in on Friday morning, and I leave Monday morning to come home. Looking at the weather, high 90's all weekend! Can't wait, been low 60's and rain here for about a week! ( I better bring a big jug of sunscreen)

Thanks!

Darren

If you want to catch a show, the Cirque de Soleil shows are incredible. The last one I went to was O at the Bellagio. Definitely worth checking out.

I always enjoy just standing on the street watching the "card flippers"
I have quite a large collection of them at home. They make for great x-mas gifts !

Scott is right any of the Cirque de Soleil shows are great. There is a discount show ticket office in front of the mall (by the T.I.). I suggest you stop in and check it out. Could save a pretty penny on tickets.

REHAB is one heck of a beech party. The ladies are very entertaining. Not the kind of place a pasty white pot belly fits in, but you can always admire.

If your staying at MGM I suggest breakfast at the Studio 54 Cafe. Good stuff! Plenty to see and do around there. Be sure to take in the fountain show.

Have fun
