Subject: Brakes
Got my car on the road today, brakes wanted to put me through the windshield. They work a little to good. I've heard there is something I can replace to soften them up?
Hi “Acidfly”,
The best thing to do is to call me to discuss:

If you have aggressive brake pads, you can usually swap them out for much less aggressive / harder pads – they will bite much less, last vastly longer, and also dust a helluva lot less (bonus!). Here is a forum discussion that may also help:

I will say that 99% of the time you will pound the brakes through a few good “spirited” driving sessions, which will “calm down” the aggressiveness measurably, along with retraining your “brake foot” not to be so heavy. If you have a 1000 horse car, you can also actually get a little scared of the gas pedal, quickly learn how to highly respect the power of that pedal, and have to then also totally retrain your “gas foot” too (LOL)
Let me know how I may be of further assistance at any point.
There IS a difference – Thank you for choosing Hydratech!
