Default I guess I am out of here

Hi my name is Larry and I been a member here for a while. I own a rod and custom shop called L&L Custom Performance in south central Wisconsin. I joined at the urgeing of a customer who's 68 firebird we did the custom paint and metal wiork on. It is a great site. Lot's of great prodjects and information. I was basicly checking in from time to time checking out the new prodjects, catch up on the progress of other's. and genuinely enjoying myself. Aside from introduceing myself to begin with I had not posted anything. But since I had started posting on several other sites[ tri five.com streetrod.com to name a few.] I thought I would try this site , make a few new online friend's, exchange some info ,share a few joke's. So I did a couple post just to relax and share some idea's. What I got was scolded for "yelling" evidently when you type with the cap's on your "yelling" and that it is anoying. This something I did not know. I type with the caps on because first I am lousey at typeing, second I am old [52] and I can see what I am typeing better. On top of that I am accused of possibly being some type of scamer. Well I responded back and said I was sorry for "yelling" and assured them that I was not a scamer. But it has bothered me all day. I then realized that I won't be comfortable on a site that responds to a new comer in such a rude fashion . So again I am sorry if I have offened anyone. I wish you all the best of luck on your prodjects and you all have a great day. BECAUSE I AM OUTA HERE LARRY www.llcustomperformance.com

Well, that is too bad as someone of your talent could surely provide lots of useful info. I also used to write in caps (on other boards) and it didn't take long to realize that it was a no no.... so I complied and it has been smooth ever since... ha ha.. Anyway, this has been one of the more professional boards i have been on and really appreciate the vast knowledge and experience of its members.

Larry,

I feel as though this is a really good community and a well ran board.
I would overlook the comments that some may make.
When someone tries to express their opnions by typing it can be recieved or taken in many ways.

There are dudes that are going to come off rude, but with the large variety of people out there you will get conflicting attitudes.

This is a great place with great info for your projects. Also is a good way to meet some dudes that share the same passion for cars as you do.

Default Hope you read this!!

Larry, I'm sorry to hear about your bad experiance here as we work very hard to make it fun and clean for everyone. Typing in caps on the net is known as yelling or raising your voice...I take it your weren't told of this in a kind manner...again sorry for that! As stated above, sharing your experiance and ongoing projects would be much appreciated!

Not sure about the scammer deal? I do know that we don't allow advertisement if you aren't a site supporter...is this what happened?

We value each and every member here and would love to have you stick around!

thats the thread he was talking about, nothing nasty at all, just mentioned that there are not to many people who are lousy typer's but can capitalize the first letter in each word, and i mentioned the scammer who typed the same way and i believe was from Wisconsin also.
all i did was state something, i was not nasty.

Maybe saying that he may be a scammer because he typed like one who was a scammer, might not have been the best thing to say to a new member who clearly had positive things to contribute. My dad is in his 60's and doesn't know the internet lingo either and at times types like that as well.

can you vouch for him? all he had to say was it was not him and that was that.

SO NOW I HAVE TO TYPE IN CAPS TO BE A SCAMMER? I thought I just had to have tattoos, who raised the bar again? I will never be a criminal if they keep raising the bar.

But, That is kinda of weird thing to say to some one.

But I think somebody needs to have little tougher skin, come on some guy makes a weird comment and you want to make an "I'm gonna take my toys and go home speech," Come on.

Can't we all just get along.
