Default motor decoding

I am trying to find out specificaly what motor I have in my Camaro. I know it is a small block but can't seem to find any numbers. I thought they would be stamped on the pasenger head but can't seem to see them. I did pull the valve covers off and found these. Drivers side- above the numbers there is an 84 then the number is 3782461 below it there apppears to be a I 224.
On the passenger side same number but below the number I have a K 244. Also , in the center of the driver side there is the GM with a 3, on the passenger side it is GM 5. Also, on the front of the head there apears to be a clock? On one head the arm is pointed towards the 11 position which I assume to be Nov. , on the other head it is pointed towards the 1 which I assume to be Jan. does this make sense and can anyone out there help? Is this enough or where do I look for more info?
Thanks,
B.
