Default The race to SEMA is on who will win?

As some of you might know Jason from G-Force designs and myself have a friendly wager on who can get there car ready and to SEMA first. Jason and I have got to be pretty good friends talk almost every day share almost all information. But boys will be boys and competition is good. So as we both ran neck and neck getting our projects ready we knew it would be close now the race across the country is on. Both of us have about 2500 miles ahead of us team prodigy got the jump and left this morning at 9 AM with three drivers. Team G-Force left a little later at 1 PM with four drivers.

It's 3 AM and team prodigy has 1000 miles down and a 200 miles ahead of G-Force. How ever G-Force is closing quick on team prodigy hindered by a smaller fuel tank, two cars in tow, two miles per gallon worse fuel econ, and a unpaid speeding ticket in Texas forcing me to drive the speed limit.

Team G-Force with there larger fuel tank and better fuel econ now have down right cheated and have borrowed Bill Howell's killer valentine radar detector, looks like it could be close and I am really afraid I'm going to have a nasty bar tab. Stay tuned for updates.

Let me see if I got this right..You are heading thru Texas and have a unpaid speeding ticket there but you have never bothered to buy your own Valentine Radar detector ? How many more tickets before you do buy one ?

Frank, Depending on what time you come through Hoover Dam may not be your best choice. They may want to inspect your trailer(If they will let you across with it) and contents and the traffic can get bad on the weekends. I bet your coming through Flagstaff then through Kingman AZ. Do yourself a favor and once you hit Kingman go through Laughlin NV and bypass Hoover dam. It may just save you one hell of a bar tab and it's not much farther but usually a hell of alot faster. http://www.usbr.gov/lc/hooverdam/crossingguide.pdf

Update

It is 4 PM eastern, Team G Force was gaining and within 150 miles, but had a blow out on the trailer, set them back to 175 miles at the last check in. However Team Prodigy just took another hit when my buddy Todd (Vegas 69) informed me we could not pass over the dam, and have to go around, UGH!

Gosh this is going to be close. It should all come to a end about 6 PM eastern, 3 PM Vegas time

As for Barney Fife, we already through tacks on the highway!

Thumbs up Up date from G-Force

Well here's the absolute lastest from Jason. They are about 2 hours short of the Arizona border! They lost a lot of time due to a 4 TIRE CHANGE on the trailer. They had 1 tire go bad with a bubble and changed it. At the next stop they noticed a 2nd tire going bad - therefore the very costly in time 4 tire change. Looks like they should roll into SEMA before dawn Sunday AM. We'll see.
