Default "Top Musclecars at SEMA"

Cool to see some exposure at a non-PT (or even muscle-car oriented) site:

Devious

Empty Nest

Strope Torino

Wow, looks like the guys who came up with the list didn't go any farther than the sidewalk outside the central hall. There were cars in the Front Hall tent and across the street that may have made it on that list too. Devious, Empty Nest and the Torino are definitely deserving of that recognition, they were awesome!

No mention of II Much, Ring Bros Mustangs, Nemesis, Ida Concepts Challenger, Time Machines 69 Camaro or Cuda, Foose Chevelle and others????? I wonder what their criteria was.

What about #6 there?

They definitely missed some great stuff if they put a fake Yenko and a pastel 65 Eleanor wannabe in the Top 5 but I'm glad to have a client on the list!

I'm sure we could make a top 10 list of cars they missed...

As for their #1, I am a Ford guy, and I should like it, but that Torino does absolutely nothing for me. Nice paint. It's probably the nicest Torino in the world. don't care....

I'd have to disagree with you, I love that Torino. I love when people step outside of the box & build something different. Take for instance Your Cougar, I love the fact that you're not building another 64-70 Mustang or a Camaro. Not that there's anything wrong with those cars but, I love the cars that are different.

Please don't misunderstand me, I am glad he built it. Good for him, good for the car owner who stuck his neck out and spent that kind of time and $$ on a unique vehicle. I love outside the box projects as much as anyone. They did a great job, but for some reason I just can't get excited about it, and I'm not sure why. My post was not meant as a slam of the car, I was just expressing the fact that even as a "Ford guy" it didn't do anything for me.

That car that you designed doesnt seem to have gotten much love on the boards and Im not sure why it has SEVERAL KILLER modifications done to it, has all the good parts your normal high end PT style car has. I have looked at the car several times and each time I notice something different about it. Very nice car....

Yeah, I forgot to add that to my list Jason. That is a gorgeous car with a ton of slick looking mods that were really outside the box! Also deserving of the top ten list, no doubt.
