Default 67 Firebird Build New guy

I've been checking out this forum for some time now and just thought I would take a few minutes to introduce myself and my project. I'm 30 years old and live in Reno. I am no stranger to cars, but this will be my most ambitous project yet.I just traded my 94 Z28 a few months ago for this pile of rust that I hope I can make into something presentable. It's a 67 Firebird 400; I'm planning on stroking the motor and maybe adding a little nitrous just for fun. DSE's mini tub and a four link are also on my wish list, but that will take some time. I expect to have my hands full replacing the quarters and other misc. sheetmetal. Here is a link with some pics of the bird, along with the car I traded for it and a truck I painted.

Welcome to the site. Good luck on the bird. At least when its done you can drive it all year. My bird is in the shed waiting for spring.

Good luck with the build, sounds like a good plan you have! There will be times you question trading your camaro for the bird...but in the end it will be worth it...stay focused!!

I am allready questioning my decision, but am also excited about the finished car. I'll post pics as soon as I figure out how. I got the front sheet metal off of the car this past month. As soon as I get the rest of the wiring and drivetrain out, I'll take it in to get sandblasted.
