Default WTB: 1965 425 ci. Buick Nailhead Long Block

Hello:

I have a matching numbers 65 Riviera and I want to buy and build another engine to driving around with so the original can be kept safe.

I am looking buy a 1965 Buick 425 Nailhead Engine long block for a rebuild.

If you have one or know where one is, I would appreciate it.

If it also has the 400 Tranny with that would be fine also as I could just pull them both at the same time.

Thanks,

Ty O'neal

Default nailhead for sale

Hey Ty,
I Have A 1965 Buick Nailhead 425ci. It Has An Offenhauser Intake With 3-dueces. It Had 1 Broken Valve When I Pulled The Heads Off. I Don't Know What It Originally Came Out Of. Am Asking $1500.

Noah:

Where are you located, do you have the transmission (T400) that goes with it?
How's the 425 built?

Ty
