I am looking for input on which company/suspension package to use on the rebuild of my 68 'vert.I built this car once in 1989 using H.O.racing components to convert to f body spindles ,some really beefy swaybars and global west springs.I also used global west del alum bushings in the upper and lower front control arms. The car handled well, but I am sure it could do better. It is getting a frame off resto now and I would like to hear from some people who have gone with Global West,Hotchkis,or any othe of the options out there.I would like to hear your opinions on handling, driveability, cost vs results, etc.
A lot of the A-body guys are moving to ATS' AFX spindle. They are one of the site sponsors listed on the left side. These spindles are the only ones currently on the market that helps address all the inherent flaws in the stock setup without negative effects like the B-body spindle swap. It is designed to use the C5/C6 vette brakes without adapters. As stated above, SC&C has packages that can suit your needs including these spindles.
I like the combination of a Hotchkis Extreme TVS kit and a tall spindle of some variety weather it be ATS, B or F Body, or someone elses. We have installed and sold many of these kits recently and they really get rave reviews from the owners everytime. It makes for a very nice tuned system at a very resonable price.
