Default My projects finally going to start!!!!

Well after 3 years of sitting in my storage yard, my 69 CAMARO will finally get started on!! I cut my first check to Frank at PRODIGY ,for the first round of parts (DSE subframe, Quadralink, frame connectors, and mini tubs) Its going to be a big block car 572 GM crate motor, 6 speed trans, no fancy electronics just all buisness.I do'nt want to bore you with all the details. I will post pics of the build as I go. I know I'll be on this forum like a mad man asking questions, and looking for feedback on certain issues. I like this forum for alot of reasons and one of them is motivation!!! Looking at what you guys do with some of these cars is unreal. So hopefully this is what its going to look like when its done!!

Default Sounds like a very nice project

and you should be in good hands with Frank.

It appears you are going with a dark black for the body and a medium black on the trim. Is that a light black in the center of the wheels? LOL

That is one mean lookin' SOB you are building. I can't wait to follow the progress!

I think you should add a little red light that goes back and forth and be the vintage KIT car.

Just kidding. That thing is going to rock! Frank and the gang will take good care of you. Please post all the pictures you can. This will be a fun car to follow.

Mario, thanks for letting me have a crack at your project. Here is a little bit bigger image with a little better resolution.

That black is black, but the chrome & trime are a special blend of non reflective chrome pigments that mimic "Black" , and the wheel centers are what is called "Magic Yellow".....

That is one of my favorite things to do when I am working the House of Kolor booth at shows. We have a candy red car in the booth and some one will ask me what color it is and I just tell them (with a straight face) that it is called "Magic Yellow"..... I just love messing with folks at shows!

Carter

Killer car and rendering!! Looks like Prodigy gets to do another awesome Black '69. Looks mean with the whole RS front end blacked out. What kind of wheels are those? Looking forward to more pics.

The wheels are BUDNIK - VELOCITY R but this could change by the end of the build. I'm going to use all the resources on this forum to help me get this project done. Frank was the first person I called for parts help, and he did me right. Its great to work with good people
