This is a sore subject with a lot of centerforce dual friction believers(dont get me wrong they have a decent product line, its up to you to pick the right one). I had one in a 650 ftlb first gen, a solid 3500lb car with me in it. The fact is at that power level its marginal at best, I smoked it in 6 passes with hoosier QTPs, the car never dead hooked was running mid 1.8 60 footers. You probably would be better off with there LMC series, I believe it has light metal pucs on both sides of the disc and Ive heard its not too grabby. Im currently using the series 800 from Mcleod and like it, but Im no where near 650 ftlbs, made 480ft lbs to the rear wheels. I would give Mcleod a call, Im sure Red can hook you up with something nice to hold it engaged. Rich
