Default Finally I have a 69 Camaro!!!

Hello everyone!
I am a mechanical engineer working for the Navy in Bremerton, WA. I just turned 27 and have been working on my 95 TA the last 4 years (slowly). My father builds and paints hot rods in Great Falls, MT. He actually built Shawn Strunk's 69 camaro (https://lateral-g.net/members/strunk/. I have loved 69's since I was a kid, and I have been searching for the right project car for the last 1-2 years. I'm actually waiting for it to be delivered today, I paid $6750 for a roller project car with all brand new GM metal from the firewall forward.

My 95 TA still isn't done, so now I have two projects going at the same time
I haven't decided on an engine and tranny for the TA, and now I spent all my engine money on a 69 camaro.

My plans for the 69 camaro include...
-Either a AME Max G 3-link full frame or Schwartz Full Frame (my dad wants the AME to just rework the floor pans)
-I already have a complete 385 ci LT4 built by Scoggin Dickey Performance Center that puts out 485 HP and 480 ftlb torque
-I am going to use the Forgeline S03P wheels and Pirelli tires off my 95 TA (19x9.5 w 275/30 R19 and 20x12.5 w 345/25 R20)
-Brakes are probably just going to be Wilwoods 14" BSL6 Fronts and 13" BSL4 Rears
-The car will "probably" be painted the same Custom Tangelo Orange as the link to my old 93 TA in my signature with a Gun Metal Hockey Stripe
-As far as body mods they will come as we go

I have been trucking around this website for about 2 years but now have a reason to join, and I will probably be asking a lot of questions.
Thanks,
Luca

Up here in Bremerton I don't see many PT cars, but soon I will have 2!!!

Congradulations on the new project Luca. Judging by your previous projects it will be bad ass.

Thanks guys, I probably should explain my user name...
It's from one of the greatest movies ever, Oldschool
Will Ferrel's character is out working on his red 80's TA with the bird on the hood and he proceeds to call it Red Dragon. So I have referred to my 95 TA as Green Dragon ever since.

Yeah, sorry about that Taylor. The engine package just came out to be too expensive for what I wanted. Had the Billet block been the price we originally discussed, I wouldn't own this 69 right now! I just cannot see putting $70k into a 95 TA when I might be able to get $15k if I had to sell it for some reason.

Again I am REALLY sorry I never called you back, your 69 is beautiful and I can blame this Camaro somewhat on seeing yours.
