Default Can i use this to mock install my T-56??

Just wanted to know if the C5 T56 casing is the same as a LS1 T56 casing for mock up purposes?

I am wanting to install my DSE weld in cross member and i would like to have the engine/tranny mocked up to make sure i hack the floors in the right spot for both the crossmember and the shifter hole.

I already have a dummy LS1 block, but need a t56 tranny for mock up. I found this on ebay.

Provided i get a bellhousing, will this work for what i want?

Any other suggestions? I just don't want to go buy a full blown T56 and have it sit for a year or two while i finish up the body/suspension work on the car.
