Default Touring Classics? 1st Gen C5 brakes????

Hey guys...I'm I just not using Google very well or something?

There was/is a cool company that makes a brake conversion bracket to put C5 13" calipers/rotors on 1st gen F-bodies. I used their stuff on my 69 Camaro a couple of years ago.

Not finding them...????

Or...anybody know of anbody else that has a cool bracket to use either C5 or 4th gen F body disc on an original drum brake 1st gen F body???

I'm building my 68 Camaro with C5 components from Kore3.

Thanks for the props. Our website is www.kore3.com by the way. If you have any questions or would like to discuss your application in more detail, feel free to drop us a line or email. You'd be hard pressed to go wrong with any of the suppliers mentioned above...although admittedly, I am a little biased.

Thanks guys! As some of you may know, I am project lead for the 1968 Firebird...Project R .

http://mcspeed.homestead.com/ProjectR.html

I had used the Touring-Classics conversion on my 69 Camaro in 2004. It has worked so well, and the guys on the project build were so impressed with the conversion that we just knew Project R needed to go the same route.

We are looking for sponsor ship for at least the bracket and hardware kit to do the conversion, and will hunt down a set of used C5 calipers/baskets/rotors...etc. At the best, a whole kit donated would do the trick.

The subframe is virtually complete on the car and we are in the process of gathering the funds/parts to replace all the rear sheetmetal.

We are hoping and praying it is able to sit on four wheels by October to be displayed in the Church's annual Fall car show.
