Question 18 & 19's

A couple questions, what tire sizes are available in the 19 inch tires now?

Do many people go with 18 & 19 combo?

I am running 18s on front 275-40/18
and running 19s on the rear 345-30/19

as far as options, the 18s are virtually endless as to what make, style, and aspect ratios, but when you go to 19s, especially wide ones like I got, there was only two options Nitto and Michelin.

That's the perfect stagger for that car and there are tons of 19" tire sizes since most of the supercars run them in back. Are you mini-tubbing it? If you like a lot of sidewall, the Ford GT came with GoodYears with a huge sidewall or if you want something medium, look to Porsche original equipment and if you want to go 325-345mm with 30 series sidewalls, look to the Z06, Vipers, Ferraris, etc.

Lots of options and one of them will look and fit perfect on there. Let us know what you find and decide on!

Thanks Jay, Thats what I was thinking (18 & 19) 20's seem a little much on that car, I was curious what Notorious was going to run, seems like I heard 19's in the rear but that has the DSE tubs on it I believe? and I wouldnt be able to go near that wide ..... I can only wish for that set up! going to be one bitchn ride when there done!

No I wont be mini tubing it, and I like a medium to lower profile tire, proportion seems to be the key word.

Here is my current set up.
Centerline Scorpion Wheels
17X7'S Front
17X8'S Rear
BFG KD ZR Tires
225/45 front
255/45 Rear
(These are for sale btw if anyone's interested!)
From a proportion, stance & offsets these have worked perfect, the wheels were measured for the car, and I like my wheels tucked in nice, which these are.

I was thinking something like this for the wheels,
Fronts 18X7'S? I would consider 18X8'S if I can keep the wheel offsets tight & inside the wheel well nice and tight without issues.

Rears 19X8.5 or maybe a 9 again, I want to make sure the wheels sit nice and tucked in the wheel well, (it has a 3 inch DSE lowered leaf spring) if the 9looks good & fits with a proportionate tire I would for sure use it.

So I guess I am looking at 30-35 or 40 series tires?
bucks69 set up looks cool but I do not think I can go that wide?
