Default looking for billet hood hinges for 64 chevelle

Hey, Hope everyone is well. Anyone know where I can find some billet hood hinges for a 64 chevelle? I am able to find some for 1 st gen. Camaros and Mustangs but have not had any luck locating a pair for my chevelle. I am hoping to replace these:

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Chris

Chris,

The 64 Chevelle is a one year only fit. Real similar to 67-69 Camaros except for the top piece that bolts to the hood. They also need a horizontal shock without the arm hanging down, as they will hit the inner fenderwells.

Fesler is supposed to be doing some in the future, not sure exactly when. I also would like a set.

Default Thanks Jody

That is what I thought. I know Chris Fesler is busy right now (GG Street Machine of the year, etc) so it may be a while.

Anyone else making these? Sounds like you would have a market.

Chris,
I haven't really looked at the stock hood hinges for a 64 Chevelle, but we have been able to use 1st gen DSE hinges on other GM cars with a little work.
So give me a call.

the top piece would have to be re-made. The bottom part at the fender would work and pivot points work also. Just can't have the somewhat vertical shock and needs a longer piece up top at the hood than the Camaro, with a step in it as the hood is not flat there.

We will have these in a few weeks shipping, we have all the mods done from our Chevelle and are making finals now. check back in a few weeks if you can wait that long. If not I have Camaro ready to ship out if you want to do some mods. its a lot of work not simple like everyone thinks.

thanks

I know it's not simple, that's why I'm waiting. Put me on the list when you get them.
