Default Teachable moment for my 7 year old son?

So I took my 7 year old son, Jared, to the Syracuse Nationals so we could have a father & son day. Looked at a lot of cars, we could burb, fart and scratch ourselves without mom yelling at us. I found the opportunity to teach him about tires at the Falken tire booth. How'd I do?

Excellent! You've got to give him a good education.

You forgot to tell her to sit straight and proper!. Otherwise I think you did real well. Did he go home and tell mommy like my children would do to me? "Mommy, daddy was hugging a girl today, and she had big boobies like you."

Come on, you are a rookie. That is the best age to take them with you. First, the babes love babys, Second, the 10 month old can not tell mommy what you did on your little adventure. Don't believe me? Take him to the grocery store this week, you will have them falling all over you to see the baby. The most stuck up woman can not resist a baby and the "sensitive man" that is holding it. The best place in the store is the produce section. No better way to learn the difference in good and bad oranges. They will be happy to explain it to you and show you the difference.
Oh man, you rookies......
To be young again....
LOL

BTW did Jared learn anything at the tire tent? If so Dad, you did good.
It did not have to be about black, round and rolls either
