Default Please help with wheels for 70 camaro

What is the widest wheel/tire I can run on a 70 camaro? Wanted to stay with 17", they are as tall as I can afford on the budget. Thanks for the help.

My standard answer should be to measure your car exactly since what fits one car may not fit the other but a "safe combination" for your car would be as follows:

Fronts:
17x8 (4.5" b/s-4.75") w/245/45 or 255/45's

Rears:
17x9.5 (5.5" b/s) w/275/40 or 285/40's

This should fit without issues at just about any ride height.

Hope that helps you...oh and welcome aboard.
