Default Baddin down the hatches

Baddin down the hatches bad weather is coming. Frank I hope your done with the ARK! Carolina's hang in there Looks like it's the east coast turn. I got the Kids sleeping in the basement tonight just incase of falling trees. Got the car sitting under a twin post lift so that should secure it for the night. Take care everybody.

Good luck up there. Everyone be safe. Were already planning a early departure to Run Thru the Hills if the big one is coming this way.

Be careful out there on the East Coast, everyone! We'll be thinking about you, Mark!

Yeah, we're still expecting high winds later today. NOAA weather advisory warns of gusts approaching 50mph, so I am sure to loose a tree or two, but nothing I don't want down. God has been doing a great job of clearing the useless pine trees from my property! Since we moved in 5 years ago, I think we've lost close to 10 of them!

Shiny Side Up!

Thanks for the thoughts everyone. I am in central NC and we have got alot of rain so far and some wind. Gusts around 25-35 mph. Not to bad so far. I think we have dodged another one.

Should be a good day to work on my welding table in the shop.

Well it was supposed to make landfall here in Brunswick County,
but it was not too bad, it was quite windy and everything,
but we did not receive any damage, although we were without
power until about 10:00 this morning everything is back on now

Well I ended up with leaves and branches down no big deal. But my mom's house flooded pretty bad. Figures it's the house I'm trying to sell. Clean up starts tomorrow!
