i have a 1971 firebird that someone has put a 455 in.i want to get the air working but have no brackets.anyone know what brackets i will need?or where to get them?i see on e-bay,brackets that they will fit a 74 and other years but do not know if they will fit my car.the motor is not original and i do not know if this matters with the brackets.any help would be appreciated.

Not sure about Pontiacs, but with Chevys, the only difference was the lack of accessory bolt holes on the face of the heads of the earlier ones. Call Year One or Classic Industries; I'm sure they could help you out.

Best bet would be to get everything for the install off of a donor car. When I removed my system I sold the whole system complete on ebay.

its hard to find a complete set up when your not sure what years are the same.does anyone know what other cars that would have the same brackets as a firebird?
