Default My 1st PT project 66 nova

Well I bought this car about 6 months ago off Craig's list from about 40 picts
Some of my expectations were a little high but i am totally in love with the car!

To start the car had paint and body about 10 to 15 years ago and is in need of work. The interior is good but will get some updates like scat low back buckets, custom gauges, A/C, and audio upgrades. The motor is pretty much a done deal zz4 with fast burn heads, small solid roller with efi in the future. I just had a 700 R4 with a non lockup 2500 stall converter built, but will switch to tko with future upgrades. The suspension was all airbag so i converted to new multi leafs out back and cut coils in the front for now Alston clip coming soon. I also just put in RCD Bilstein shocks and new front swaybar but not the rear yet. I will get that from my neighbor Glenn (Quickor suspension). The rear end is a 10 bolt with 3:73's and a Auburn posi unit with good axles. I still need to do the T/A diff cover. The car came with 14" rally wheels and changed those out for 17" American Racing Torque Lite wheels for now, with future upgrades to Boze 19" shifters in flat black. Currently working on c5 brake upgrades and spin tech mufflers.

I am welcome to any ideas and this will be a slow process but my goal is to be able to have the car down as little as possible and drive it the majority of the time. I have had hot rods and drag cars in the past and I am tired of tearing something apart and not being able to enjoy it, so this will be a piece by piece build. I realize some of this stuff will be time consuming and I will do most of the work by myself but i want as little down time as possible.
Thanks for looking
Chris
