Default 67 and 68 door interchange

Quick question; are 67 and 68 Camaro/Firebird doors interchangeable? Besides the vent window, they look the same to me. Thanks

Thanks, just out of curiosity, what are the differences between the two?

I am pretty sure the hinges are different. if you do a search on this topic you will probably find some more info on it.

Thanks for the help, I found the info. Like you said, the hinges are the difference. The 1967 use 3 mounting holes and the 68's use four; and they are in different locations.
Thanks again

It's easier to redo the door jamb than the doors but I have seen it done both ways.

Sorry to hijack this thread but what would be involved in putting 68 glass into a 67 door? I've been thinking of doing that to get a little cleaner look but I don't know, I have had my 67 Firebird for 21 years and I am used to the vent windows.

I know I would need some new window regulators, I would like to convert to electric anyway, and new window channels. I am sure this has been done before but is it worth it?

It's easier to just put on 68 doors than to try to convert 67 doors to 68 glass but it can be done.

I personally like the vent windows and still can't understand why people want to change over but it is a personal choice that only the owner has to live with.
