Default Can I shorten my LS1 driveshaft or buy new?

Can I have my driveshaft that came from the 2000 camaro my motor came from shortened and installed in my 68 camaro or do I need to find a steel one from a 1st gen camaro?

Or is it easier to just buy a new one?

Yes you can cut the drive shaft down but you will need to have the right yokes put on it and and new balance after all the works is done this will be a good upgrade for ya less rotating mass
