What's up Lateral-G Nation? It's been a while. I just wanted to extend an invitation to send me pix and short bio's on your G-Machines that might be coming to Goodguys Columbus next summer to compete for the Street Machine of the Year title. We'll keep the award format exactly the same as last year which worked out pretty good. The SMOY competition had over 50 entries and the Autocross was a lot of fun to watch and report on. This year's should be even bigger. So...Send 'em on if you want a little play on our website and in our Gazette. Thanks guys! Happy Holidaze to everyone!

Goodguys/Air Ride Technologies Street Machine of the Year:
Presented at: 12th Goodguys PPG Nationals, July 10-12, Columbus, OH
Who’s Eligible: Street Machines 1954 through 1972 vintage.
How to Enter the Competition: All award candidates must park in the Pro’s Pick Area Friday and Saturday July 10th & 11th as well as participate in a three-lap Street Challenge Auto Cross Friday afternoon, July 10th (exact times TBD) at the Ohio Expo Center. Autocross lap times will not determine the overall winner but style points do count!
Criteria: This award is designed for a cutting edge Street Machine which combines masterful build quality with extreme performance. Quality of craftsmanship, body & paint, overall engineering, the three F’s (fit, form & functionality) stance and overall creativity in design and concept is what the selection committee will seek.
