Default Another 69 Camaro

Ok guys, I have had this car for a long time and it has always taken a back seat to whatever else I have going on. I finally decided to start tearing into it. This will not be a complete tear down. I am going to keep the car drivable and just fix/upgrade as I get the funds. This will be the slowest project update thread on the forum I am sure.

I am really into the trans am/streetfighter type cars.

The car currently has a 327 that is bored .060 over and has probably only 100-200 miles on it.

First things first I am going to have to get a full floor pan in in, it looks like it has been worked on before and it was some really crappy work. the passenger seat floor pan is crinkled up pretty good as well as the driveshaft tunnel, so it looks like it got hit pretty good somewhere along the line.

It is also going to need some rockers as well as most other body panels, although looks will not be first priority.

I have a t56 and a moser for it that will go in after I get some other issues resolved. I will keep you guys updated

Ryan

Ryan, The great thing is it's a 69 the 32 ford of camaro's. And every part needed for a total rebuild can be had new or used. And the guy w/ the sunoco camaro can get you all the goodmark parts at a discount.Just give him a call. I think he has installed some of their sheet metal in also. So good luck with your project. Scott.

Yeah thanks scott, it's gonna be like the johnny cash song, one piece at a time!! How much does a full floor go for? Hopefully a guy named scott with the sunoco will be willing to help me put the floor in hahaha.

Small update. I finally bought a welder, now I just need to practice a bit. I think my first step is to put my car on a frame rack. It was hit on the left 1/4 and I am pretty sure the frame is tweaked.

I will have to take you up on that Scott. I would love to talk about your trip to Nevada. I see your hood looked a little different than last time I saw you. Your car looked great in the pics.
